--The Weight of Glory--

"When humans have become as perfect in voluntary obedience as the inanimate creation is in its lifeless obedience, then they will put on its glory, or rather that greater glory, of which Nature is only the first sketch."

Excellent quote. I'm reading "The Weight of Glory" right now (only on second or third chapter) but it makes so much sense. I listened to a bunch of snipets of C.S. Lewis' life on PBS's website. If only I could understand half of what he did!

There is a movie about Lewis' life. I can't remember the title. He was definitely a visionary and ahead of his time. Heck, in many ways he's still ahead of our time.

Kristi, I don't often comment, but I do often visit. I put a link to your page on my site. I hope you don't mind.
