There is nothing better on a lazy Sunday evening that grabbing your roomie, your current C.S. Lewis book, and deciding to unwind at the local Starbucks only to find, after molding into the cushey purple couch, friends wandering thru the doors, two-by-two. Ahh, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, good friends, a rousing game of Parcheesi, and laughter. Who could ask for anything more...

Ahhhh, Starbucks...that sounds so good right about now....
Are you liking Surprised by Joy? I love C.S. Lewis, but I thought it was kind of dry and slow-moving.
C.S. Lewis rings of some of the only good memories I had in high school... coming home... forsaking homework... going to bed on the couch... reading an essay a night from "Christian Reflections" or "God in the Dock".
God was so good to me...
